gas mileage update

I already know how to figure mpg, I cleaned my K&N and haven't refilled the tank yet, but I am going substantially farther on this tank. I'll see how much in a couple of days, but I was getting 10.7 in town, this whole tank is in town driving so I should get a good read. I'll let you know.

11-13 is avg anything else is suspect!? to many factors...

Anyone have the onboard computer thats in the roof with the compass? My truck I just bought has one and I'm curious how accurate it is. It says Im getting 11.9 mpg

Usually its not that accurate. Mine has always been high.

Well, my results are in, same driving situation, only difference is a cleaned K&N, drum roll please.......TA DA!

I went from 10.72 to 10.77! I'm already spending the extra money!
