Default gas mileage update

hey guys,
ok so my 96 dodge, i've been tracking the mpg on it and for a while i was only getting about 11 to 13 but now i am getting like 16.6. i never changed my driving style. stayed in city, the only thing i did was clean my k and n filter but that can't make a huge difference. i know some people will say that not a lot ,but everyone her should a 2mpg jump pretty good. just wondering about thatit been 16.6 the past 4 fill ups

i am not just don't want nothing to come apart caurse i leave in the country. couple of paved rds but mostly dirt. the k and n was more where the pcv valve was shooting oil in it than dirt but i don't think that a problem.

You would be suprised at how much better things work when you have a clean air filter. I actually cleaned the K&N in my wifes Grand Prix GTP the other day and took it out for a spin and my god it made a hell of a difference

Ditch that jet chip dude. A remake mopar pcm off of jegs or summit will be much better. I have been very dissapointed with jet. I noticed a difference but I must reset it in order to see any perf then a month later the computer learns it and just overides it again. More power man! Like the exhaust though headers make it deep and aggresive. Mine with headers, dual in dual out, with sport style with cuda tips and a thrush muffler sounds like a low growl of a diesel with stacks. Step on it and its a part drag motor. Love em

what im saying is- fill the tank, drive it around for a while and fill the tank again, but record how many gallons it took.

divide the number of miles you drove by the gallons of gas that were needed to fill the truck.
