Default brake line help.

hey guys i have to replace the brake line that runs from the front to the rear for inspection. my question is, is there a diagram or anything that shows the routing of that line or all of them for that matter? i checked the 01 fsm and couldnt find anything. if anyone has something it would be greatly appreciated. i just want to know where the line begins. i know where it ends, but i dont want to crawl in the mud right now to find the beginning.

TIA guys!!

I think somewhere up by the drivers feet..... should be a junction block, or some such there. If you have 4wal, it might run all the way to the motor/controller.

i have rwal, would the junction block still be there? i know i have a couple blocks up by the mc. is there any different way to bleed the lines seeing how it has abs? i know some chevys the motor has to be running to bleed brake lines because of their abs systems...

Junction block should be there, yep. And no, bleed the brakes like you would a non-abs equipped system. RWAL in our trucks is just a couple solenoids. Nothing really spectacular.

The block is behind the plastic wheel well on drivers side front.
If you are gonna replace the whole line it is easier if you remove this plastic piece.
there is some brake stuff in the 01 parts manuals I posted in this
link >> https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...ts-manual.html

Just select the BR or BE manual

The prebent line from dealer is about 27 bucks and welllllllll worth it

That rear line is a bitch to manuever (to get in position behind the tank, and roll over the frame - you'll see ). Go to dodge and order prebent lines. Ordered all mine last summer after my rear line blew while driving. Replaced them all just to be safe.

dont have the money for prebent lines. i havea 25' roll of coated 3/16's line ive done brake lines before so im not worried about manuevering it around the tank, just wanted to know how far up it went so i could measure it and the new line to length.

The dealer here insists prebent lines aren't available.

Anyone have a part number or something?

Additionally, I had the change the rear axle hose and the vent tube bolt broke off and is pretty damn stuck. Anyone have a part number for that too?
