jerking in 4wd

well i took it out this weekend after it had rained real hard. I was down on some land a buddy of mine has and it can get real muddy so i put it in 4-low to find out if it would be any different but it wasnt it still jerked and pulled. i put the truck in neutral and the tranny in neutral then pulled the truck into drive and slammed the selector into 4-lo and it worked fine afterwards.

the problem has reoccured, i put the truck in 4 low and was goin striaght ahead, wasnt turning at all and when i backed out the entire front end shuddered and shook.

May I ask why you are using 4 low? Kinda hard on a truck lol
