Hi All, need a little more advice, lost A/C (comp does not run all of a sudden) was working like a fridge. Checked the low side pressure and its off the charts (very high) but seamingly enough gas, checked the comp relay and all the obvious to no avail, any help, could the comp just be NG, i have no clicking or anything

Possibly a failed low pressure switch. (on the receiver/dryer) put a jumper across that switch, see if the comp then runs.

 

Thank you so much "HeyYou" that was it, of course now my next Q is, do i have to blow the charge to replace that low press switch? can I just continue to run it with the switch jumped out? thanks again you saved me some $$$$$$
