Default Craigslist find. Anyone seen this before

Never heard of such a thing. Will it work or is someone trying to make a easy dollar? Also is it worth buying one for the price?

Yep, they make the steering box last longer by taking the load off the shaft and putting it on the bearing and then to the frame. That is a very good price. A Canadian and BD Diesel sell theirs for around $250.

these were real popular a few years ago, especially with the diesel crowd, but you don't hear about it much anymore. i've never tried one.

same $120 price here on the website.

That looks like a knock-off of the Windecker Machine Steering Stabilizer. I've heard good reports of the Windecker Machine version, have never seen the knock-off before.

Thanks for the link dhvaughan. I was in the same boat as Purp, the cheapest I have seen this was $170 + shipping.

so this thing will definatley help the play in my steering cause my truck now is pretty scary theres so much slopp in the steering. I was just gonna have a mechaninc take a look at it when I take it in to get the axel seals done. But if this is gonna fix the play in the wheel I'll just get this.

It wont fix the play if you already have the play. Only prevent it if you dont have the play.

It will eliminate sector shaft play, certainly, but if you have other components contributing to the slop (and you almost certainly do) then you'll have to address those as well.
