fender flare opinions
As I was saying before in your other post, unless you are wanting flairs for strictly looks, don't bother with them. You will still get dirt all over the side of your truck.
I had a set of the medium width bushwackers and they didn't even help with the stock wheels...

The only reason I bought them was to make the ***** cop happy who kept giving me tickets when I was running these wheels...

As you can imagine they didn't do diddly squat with this setup. The crazy thing is he couldn't give me anymore tickets because it was an "attempt", which is what our law states.
Now purpl is gonna get his pantie's all in a wad cause I'm whorin' up olyelr again LOL

Are you guys up north having any problem with the cops ticketing for the tires sticking out past the fender? It's the law in just about every state, but I rarely see it enforced.
My cousin got a ticket in upstate NY for having tires sticking out too far on his '08 Ram, ON CHRISTMAS DAY, no less. When he was bi*ching about it at Christmas dinner, one of my other cousins who is a state cop in Connecticut, said they ticket for it whenever they see it...

I was until I bought those flairs. Our law here states that a resonable attempt to cover the tires is basically "good enough". The flairs were good enough to drop my tickets, even though they didnt even come close to covering the tires.
Sorry for not reposting in a couple days...was really sick...
But, just as I thought, my grandfather measured how far the tires stick out wrong. He said 3" and someone else measured them today and said to get 1 3/4" flares. My grandfather wasn't think when I parked the truck in the garage I didn't straighten the wheels out perfectly and he measured off the front not the back. So now I'm looking for a completly different style flare. I know bushwacker has OE style that is 1 3/4" and extend-a-fender that is 2". I kind of like the extend-a-fender look better but I don't want them to stick out more then the tire does. So now off to ebay I go looking for other flares.
Any pics of what you guys have, or more opinions with the new info I gave, would both be nice.

Look up about 6 posts. Those flairs on my yellow truck are bushwackers.
