Anti-spin is chrysler-speak for limited slip I believe.

 

Pretty sure antispin is the limited slip differential, and its a manual so 3.55 gears wont be bad at all

 

3.55 wont be bad in that considering it's manual and lighter than your truck. Anti slip is a limited slip so 2 wheel peel.

 

Yes anti-spin is LSD. And 3.55s are good with a 5 speed. The 5 speed has a lower OD ratio compared to the auto and that Dak also has smaller tires than your Ram. It should be around 2200 rpm at 70 which is pretty ideal.

 

ok i have the 3.55 gears and i have NEVER and i mean NEVER had the rear end only spin one tire. and this is my 3rd dakota with the 3.55 gears. and even more so i have replaced about 4 rear ends because for some reason the 5.2 eats them with the manual (or maybe its smoking 35/12.50s in 4x4) but either way and as far as the anti-spin. its a crock of **** the rear end is a limited slip deffently add the attidive when you swich the rear end fluid because it will eat the rear end up if you dont.

 

I bought a new '94 Dakota RC, 4x4, a/t with 3.92's and a 5.2 with limited slip/posi/ anti spin/locker or whatever it was. That truck was a blast! It would smoke the tires from a 20 mph roll any time you wanted.

 

what additive do you use ? if i destroy it im going to do 3.92 since i wont have to do the front
