Default Update on MPG and performance.

After resetting the PCM and cleaning the TB yesterday, got to drive it on a 102 mile round trip today. Last time I had long run I got 13.7, today I filled up drove a mile in town and hit the road, after getting back I drove 4-5 miles in town and filled up again. 16.6 mpg! It ain't a Prius but it beats the hell out of what i was getting! It's running way better, much smoother idle, better performance and since the rest my tranny is much smoother, no more lock/unlock on the convertor at light throttle and lower speeds, it just does what it should. Damn, I should have done this before!

Just disconnect the battery for a few minutes to reset.

I managed 18 or so on a long trip with my 2500. I was floored.

I would have been floored too, but then the gas mileage would have went out the window.

I have superchips 87 program on her now. To make sure PCM is reset do I need to return to stock before I unplug the negative cable then reinstall program?

No, you do not need to reset to stock.
