I'm haveing a really bad sqeeking noise under the front of my 1999 Dodge Ram 1500. But I have been noticeing most of the Dodge PU have the same sqeeking. Does anyone no what it is.

Gonna have to be more specific man. It could be any number of things.
With the truck off, put your hands on the front bumper and push it down with all of your force (jump on it). Does it squeak? If so, it could be control arm bushings, ball joints, or shocks.
If pushing on it doesnt produce the squeak: turn on the truck, pop the hood and put an ear close to the engine. Hear the squeak? If so, its either the belt/one of your pulleys, or a combination thereof. To figure out which, remove the belt (after turning the truck off of course), and hand-spin all of the pulleys. Any one of them give you a great amount of resistance? Does one wobble or have a "dead" spot? replace it. Check your belt for flat spots/lots of wear too while you have it off.
If you dont hear it, turn your wheels all the way to the left and right while someone listens from outside. Hear it now? If so, check idler/pitman arm, ball joints, tie rods, steering linkage. Easiest way to determine which one is crying is to have someone with a good ear under the truck listening while you slowly turn the wheels (BE CAREFUL).

Mine had a real bad squeek when I bought it, but I immediately changed the belt and it went away. Now I have a pulley that squeeks too. Like Mad said, it could be a lot of things.
Thanks for all the replys it is a 2wheel drive & I have replaced the idler/pitman arm & the tie rods so far. Another mechanic when I pulled in heard the sqeeking he said you need to have your A frame bushings changed he also said that dodge didn't put grease fittings on these trucks & once you change out the parts the new aftermarket ones come with grease fittings & you wont have the squeeking problem anymore. Then someone else said the upper control arm bushings need changed. I don't no what either of them are so I don't know if they are the same thing are not. All the belts & pulleys are good they don't sqeek at all, I met with a guy to get some parts yesterday I didn't see him pulling in but I heard the same noise I here from mine so I turned & looked sure enough it was him in a Dodge truck. He said the same thing he has yet to figure out what it is & it drives him crazy also. I sure don't want to have to rebuild the whole front end of my truck to find out.
