Default Who's done the manual to power door conversion?

Just picked up a 2nd truck for myself (the '01 in the sig) and it's got manual locks/windows/mirrors. Needless to say, I'm a little spoiled and am already looking into swapping it over. Did a search and found quite a few posts about it but none of them had any definite answers, so I'm calling out to you guys from the original posts! Anyone successfully pull this off? If so, is it a simple gut and replace plug and play deal or does it get a little more involved? Already found some donor doors I'm trying to haggle the price down on.

Also wanting to do an overhead computer with the mpg, auto dim mirror and fog lights.

Any input is appreciated guys.

There have been a couple folks that did the overhead console thing. If the wiring isn't already there, just cop it from the donor vehicle. Same for the doors. Take a look and see if you have the harnesses already, and if not, grab those too.... I have no idea just how much of the wiring you will have to get for that though... might need everything from the PDC, all the way to the door connectors.....

I did this with a universal kit from JCWhitney. The power door locks work very well once you figure the adjustment on the actuator and actually added a remotes entry and start to it as well. The door locks were pretty cheap too. They are still working fine after 4 years. I'll see if I can find a link to the kit I used. The power windows aren't nearly as reliable.

Went junkyard diving today and got everything for the overhead minus the vanity mirrors. Overhead (with a spare led module just in case), auto-dim mirror, and ambient temp sensor plus all the wiring. Half down, half to go. Also picked up a few other small things, all in all a good day.
