Interior Light Off Switch
For reference: I have a 97 Ram. It has all options except travel convenience group (lighted mirrors, overhead console computer, etc).
I can not find a way to disable the interior lights. No matter what i do with the switches, the lights come on with the door(s) open.
Is there a way to wire in a master kill switch for the interior lights (the console lights and dome light)?
From what I've read the dome light circuit in these trucks is kind of odd. I'm not sure where to begin to tap into to break the circuit for all three lights.

If there is a fuse for the interior lights, best bet is to wire a switch to interrupt power there. Of course, anything else on that circuit is also going to be disabled. (radio memory might be a victim as well.) I don't have 97 wiring diagrams.... so, don't know for sure.
