rear lift options

rear lift options
well ive already installed the 3'' coil spacer in the front a couple months ago and now that its all seated, ive noticed my rear end sits just slightly lower than the front.
i really hate the idea of stacking blocks as i do off-road alot, so ive been focusing on add-a-leafs.
but just recently ive seen rear lift sackles
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/BE...ery=Make|DODGE
it says its only 1/2'' lift in the rear but i was wondering what yall think,
for $60 its almost half the price ive seen for leafs, but im not sure if its gonna mess with the angle/location of my rear axle
do you think i should buy them? if not what have yall been running?

So they are shorter than the stock units? Wonder if they would cause trouble......
Something else to consider would be a shackle 'flip', but, that gets a LOT more than just an inch or two of lift. (4 to 8?)
Re-arched springs?
Add-a-leaf?
I agree with the sentiment to avoid stacking blocks though. That is a bad plan even if you DON'T off-road.

I have not run those but i dont see why they wouldnt work. I stacked and welded my blocks and have not had a issue cause i keep my ubolts tight but wont say that i wont in time. I agree with the shackle flip kit. I have not seen one in person but from pictures they look like the work well.

a rear shackle lift would probably work, i know the 3rd gens have the shackles already flipped.
but this is my dd and i work 6 days a week so i cannot really afford any down time, and i figured a shorter shackle will only be 2 bolts to remove, versus having to drop the rear axle, disassemble the leaf pack, add a leaf and reassemble it.
and i only have a gravel drive way, pancake compressor, and simple hand tools, so welding blocks together and custom fabrication is kinda out of my hands until i go purchase a cheap stick welder from harbor freight and some $$$!

I've run add a leafs before and have had no problems what so ever. I've also stacked blocks in the rear and have had nothing happen. Stacking 2 blocks is fine but if you stack 3 or more you're looking for trouble. Those shackles look like a lot of work for only 1/2 of lift. I'd put a 1 inch block and call it a day.

I just put a 3 inch spacer on my 1500 and my back end is low too, I added an add a leaf, seems like a big process but its not, Honestly I would go that route, it took me one hour to put 2 add a leafs on. And let me tell you I usually am really slow, id say add a leafs man. If not that find a drill and a grinder flip the shackles drill new holes and put new bolts in.
