Default Dual batterys and rear diff capacity

Ok so the girlfriend got me a rear diff cover for the anniversary. Just put it on today....looks ok I put 2 quarts of gear oil in it but not sure how many it takes. anyone know off hand before I drive 40 miles and need to go back lol... Also I got my onboard air compressor and 1.5 gallon tank installed...and with my truck like a mobile city in camping weather I am looking to invest in dual batteries anyone know where to start my search

I bought a diesel passenger side battery tray, and a marine deep cycle battery. I just connected it in series with the original with 2 gauge wire. Theres a few pics in the link in my signature.

as for the gear oil just fill it till it comes out the hole in the side that you are using to fill it.

I also just installed my on-board air system. I have a 3 gal tank and a extra 1 gal tank that I don't have hooked up. I just use mine for my air horns and to fill up tires. What are you using yours for? I also have the stuff for dual battery's just don't have them hooked up yet. I will take some pictures and post them I would like to see how you have yours also.

hey thanks i might try to source my dual battery kit together to save some cash so that link helps.. i mainly use mine for tires. and airing up matress so the g/f stays happy. i want to get another tank so i could use it to the run little air tools for a trail fix on the mud truck but thats about all i will use it for.
