i had a loose battery terminal on mine and it would do the same thing. i unhooked the battery to completely clear the pcm. charged the battery with a 2A maintainer and let it charge over night. rehooked up the battery and took it out over the high way 60 mph. everything works just fine after that.

 

i wish that always worked.

i bought a CTEK battery charger for my truck when it was on sale. apparently it has some type of Desulphation technology that reverses effect of sulfation which is suppose to make your battery last longer and keep it starting strong. plus it is water proof and small so you could install it under the hood and leave it there and plug it in when you need it just like a block heater.

 

Worked great for me...And I had to do it about 5 times over the winter. Dont worry, I've wised up and bought a new battery.
