Default More horsepower from a stock 98 5.9l

I just bought a 98 1500 thats lifted a little bit with 33" tires. It has a 5.9 in her. It has some power now but i want more power. Anyone have any ideas on cheap quick ways to get more power?

this won't be cheap but... install a set of 4.10 gears and have fun.

I'd go 4.56 gears with 33's but then again I have a 30" tire on 4.10's. I like the off-the-line power and can live with the mileage.

3.92 should have been the standard on the factory 225/75/16 tire. These things are hard enough to get moving on a woefully underpowered engine.

I'd do rockers and exhaust before tuner.

From personal experiance, a tune made the single biggest difference, easily. Can't go wrong with the rockers either.
