alright guys so this is really starting to freak me out lol... my tranny is doing the overdrive thing again.. let me explain what it is doing again..

What my truck is doing is it is shifting into every gear where it should be with the tuner on it. but when the truck gets warm (usually) it likes to kick its self out of overdrive when i let off the accelerator.. Ill give a brief story.. when im going 60 mph itll stay in overdrive as long as i dont let off the gas pedal. when i let off the gas pedal it downshifts around 53 mph and then when i get back on the gas itll upshift etc etc.. i have recently changed the o2 sensor throttle position sensor. my cat has been gutted for about a month. i recently serviced my transmission and my fluid levels are good (my tranny has been serviced regularly) so the point im getting to is help me with th is problem before i crash it into a brick wall from frustration lol.. o btw i got my tps from autozone and my o2 sensor there to.. think i should put my old tps on there? there wasnt anything wrong with it i was just trying to narrow out problems...

Edit.. also the other night i took my tuner and returned it to stock and erased the pcm memory.. it stopped the problem so i pulled over put it back on 87 octane and the problem still was gone until tonight

You have a tuner? Doesn't the tuner raise the O/D shift point to 55 mph? If so, then it sounds to me like the trans is doing exactly what it is supposed to.

And the fact if he has some major resistance due to a locked up brake causing extra load, could screw things up. I say fix the known issue's and go from there.

Wonder if that is also a product of the tuner? The PCM sees you decelerating, so it downshifts to facilitate that?
