There shows two different pitman arms for an 01 RAM 1500 4WD, does having an OFFROAD make a difference on any suspension part vs. a NON-OFFROAD?

the difference between and offroad, and non-offraod, is that the offroad is about 2 inches higher....which COULD mean the pitman arm is different size......if you have the offroad edition get that one, if you have a non offroad, get the non offroad one...

The pitman arm just has two holes , so unless it's bent from an accident or something. There is nothing wrong with it.

This is the part! And trust me, it's NOT bad. If you want to waste money and replace parts for nothing have at it.

2000 i believe they changed the taper of the mounting hole for the drag link. The off road will have this newer tapered arm but its no different then a non off road of that year.

the off road uses a drop pitman arm. When i went to install my 5.5 fabtech lift that come with one, i didnt need to swap them because there was already one on the truck. When i asked the dealer they said it was a stock part for the off roads.

Thought they were the same to besides the taper vs years so i looked up a ptman arm from factory and it only shows 1 parts number. Would you happen to have the # drop arm your speaking of?
