4.56s do just fine for towing and highway use.

How is it possible that rim size has anything to do with eating ball joints and wheel bearings? The geometry doesn't change in relation to the center of the hub regardless of the rim size. The distance to the ground does with a larger tire, but the geometry in relation of the bearing/joint to the center of the hub is the same.

 

i am pretty sure those rims would not fit but look almost identical. i think these where the ones you have.

he is not referring to rim size. he is referring to the backspacing.
