Default 15" rims on a 97 4x4?

Can i run a set of 15" rims on a 96 4x4 without any problems?

Maybe. Some folks have no issues at all. Others have to grind a bit off from the steering linkage to get it to clear. Try test fitting one of the wheels, see what ya got.

Why would you want to go to 15" wheels though?

ya sum work on problems, sum have to take a hair off the brake caper


15'' wheels,,, tires are cheaper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

they used the same 5on5.5 bolt pattern from 85-09. i think the still might be using the same pattern on the newest trucks but i'm not sure. i got 4 15" tires brand new for $300 and that is after taxes and if i had waited a couple of weeks i could have got them about $50 cheaper.

i have 15 inch rims on my 1998 with no issues, 31"x10.5" rubber on the rims.

Wheels and tires are way cheaper for 15". I was looking at procomp steel wheels and they come in 3 different backspacing, 2.5", 3.75" and 4". Which of the three would you recommend? I want to run 35x12.50x15 tires.

close to stock you you dont eat ball joints and wheel bearings AS fast
