Thuren fabrication is the best by far.

I'm looking into the one that top gun customz started making. Looks like a solid piece and it bolts on and doesn't require welding.

If you are going to go to all the trouble of putting on a drop bracket, and replacing the track bar, why not 'upgrade', and go to the third gen style, that has bushings on both ends?

my factory track bar is toast also. What would everyone reccomend for a factory replacement on a 2001 4wd STD Cab Short Bed. The truck is probably not going to be lifted and is daily drive. I thought about just getting a stock replacement from Moog or someone that has a lifetime warranty and just swapping it out when it eventually goes bad. I have heard about possibly switching over to a third gen but am not familiar with who makes a good kit.

the bolt on bracket that top gun will give you will loosen up over time thats why thurens is a weld in. if you get the top gun one you need to weld the bracket in eventually for durability. any time a bracket is used with a track bar I always weld it in.
