Cool 98 ram

hi my name is Dan and i have a 98 ram 1500 ex cab. it has the 5.9 in it.

my ram has a rough idle when its at an idle after i start or at a stop sign. i did replace the plugs, wires, cap and rotor, plus fuel injector cleaner every 3000 mile. can anyone give me any more ideas?

If the plugs look good, I'd check the IAC or TPS next. Both easy to do, relatively cheap replacements.

the plugs looked decent. i ill have to try what you said. i was thinking its out of time a little bit or 1 of the injectors my be bad. im not sure if those would make it have a rough idle or not. i have a snapon 2500 scanner that i put on the truck and the scanner doesnt show any codes.

If it idles rough after its been running a few minutes, probably the pre-cat O2. If it runs rough ALL the time..... need to check the plenum.
