replacing fuel pump

Default replacing fuel pump

I'm replacing the fuel pump on a 2000 dodge ram 1500. fuel tank is lowered but I can't get the fuel line or the electrical connector off. any suggestions?

Need a disconnect tool for the fuel line. (3/8ths.) Clean all the accumulated crap out of it, and hit it with the penetrent of your choice, stick the tool in, push the tool, and the line towards each other first, then pull the line.

Connector might have a lock on it that you have to pull out first, otherwise, just lift the tab, and it should pull right out.
