Default just bought truck missing fan shroud HELP

so I just bought a 97 ram1500 5.9l it is missing the fan shroud and starts overheating if it idles to long. I was wondering would it be better to go to the junk yard and try and track down a shroud or install an electric fan
thanks

Go to a junkyard and get a new shroud. You can probably get it for $25 on the top end of the price scale. E fans cost at least $200.

install a e fan if you have the extra cash. You def. want the shroud if you dont put the efan in, dont want to get wrapped up in that fan may suck a little

Where does your coolant overflow bottle, and washer fluid reservoir mount? Are they even in the truck?
