Default Cam question

I was talking to a guy on summit racing. Im looking for a decent cam with some lope to it, he told me that I wont get much lope since Im still running factory computer? Any thoughts on that one?

More like, you can't really do a lopey cam, and expect the computer to be happy about it. That would require custom tuning.

You could bolt that right on, and see an increase in power immediately. Of course, I think it wants premium gas too.....

Custom tuner from Hemifever runs around 365..... with unlimited 're' tunes... so, if you change other hardware somewhere down the line, you can get an adjustment. Kinda like a chiropractor for your truck.

DAMN IT BOBBY!!!!! My guess is I should put a magnaflow cat on the truck and do the computer and I should be golden

Or, for the same money as the Mopar performance computer, you could get an SCT Tuner from Hemifever for the same price. Upgrading to custom tuning later would be a hundred bucks.

HF's SCT tuner is pretty much accepted as THE best bang for the buck mod here.

ok that will work I will just go with the SCT tuner The douche from summit told me that computer was not a upgrade its a direct replacement of factory
