MT Clutch
#11
I wish you people would stop saying "synchros" LOL I'm not prepared for that type of repair.
Trans grinds in 2nd and 3rd unless shifted at just the right speeds. Usually put it in 5th gear first so I can get into reverse (if engine is running) and will not go into 1st if moving more than just barely.
I thought at one time an old parts store owner told me that if shifting seems a bit sticky when engine is off then I should look at the synchros, otherwise it's a clutch issue....but I've never been able to back that up, or now remember if I've even got it right.
