The sensor on top of the rear end housing is most likely bad.

You could make sure the plug is not corroded or damaged first.

Where is the fun in that? It's much better to follow automotive forum protocol by going in and replacing the entire rear end, brake lines, and the drive shaft thereby ensuring the problem is resolved.

Make sure to check over your brakes before you buy a new sensor. My ABS and BRAKE light was on because I had blown through my wheel cylinders.
