Default New member needs advice

Although I am a green horn to this site, I need to open up with a question. My apologize to you veterans out there, but I am sure you can help me. I have a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4. She has about 130k runs great but is starting to look her age. My wife actually bought it for me when her mom died so I try to keep her running and looking her best.
I am looking to replace the upper and lower control arm bushings. I am pretty handy and I know just about enough to say I need help with this one. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Default Thanks 4 the help

Tie rods and the rest of the steering linkage are in good shape less than 12 months, however, ball joints have been on 4 at least 50k. Front axel u-joints are less than 6 mo. but the seals are starting to leak. Hub/bearings are less than a year. Sway bar bushings are next on the list. Just replaced the trans oil pan and filter and the magnet in the pan was thick with magnetic sludge. If anything it keeps me out of trouble.
Thanks again

P.S. Have you done the front axel seals?

Passenger side is pretty simple. The driver side is the fun part.

Get your parts, pull the control arms, and take 'em to a shop to be pressed in.

Welcome to DF.
