Default nitrous ?????s

ok so after doing all my mods about a month ago. i feel i need just a lil more. About once a week there is a newb asking the tb spacer question and someone always says they are great if your going to tap it with a nitrous jet. well i just so happen to have a nos wet kit with 75 pills and 150 pills and i bought the truck with a tb spacer on it. I only plan on running the 75 shot on my truck till tranny gets swapped. Has any one ran nitrous on here? i have a dry kit that was on my mud truck but i know never run a dry kit on efi. Any advice let me know

Well sounds like you have some experiance with nos. Even with a wet system I would watch how you use it nos can be very unforgiveing and hard on a motor. It can cause excess cylinder temps, and through an ecu into convulsions, and depending on your engines stamina break things. You are going to be makeing hard power bearings, rings, gaskets are going to be put under a strain so make sure they are up to the task.

yeah i know how nitrous treats a motor...it is hell on it all that cool air and extra fuel make the combustion just hell...thats y i only plan on a 75 shot from experience that is a safe bet on a stock block...my xploder did great on a 75 shot. with a 5.0 and then my rx7 i sprayed...i also have a 150 shot on my xfire. Needless to say i am a fan of bottle feeding

If you want some extra power why not supercharge it? I think procharger makes a bolt-on kit that has worked great on our rams. Extreme4x4 even had an episode on the install. I don't know much about nos but it seems like more people have supercharged trucks than trucks with nos.

Nitrous is very cheap compared to forced induction. Hence its popularity.
