With that kind of mileage, a complete rebuild would be a good starting point. Better heads, bigger valves, cam, intake, injectors, and a custom tune to make it all work right.

Rebuild the trans with some heavy duty parts, or, simply replace it with a performance unit, like the PATC Mega Viper.

How much power are you looking for, and how much are you prepared to spend?

Mega Viper.

Check out EQ, or Clearwater cylinder head. Both are in florida, both offer complete heads, either stock, or, larger valves, with better castings..... for under 500 each. (270 for stock 1.92 valve heads.)

what a coincidence my name is paul too, haha! anyway, check this page for some aftermarket goodies you'll want to start with the typical intake header exhaust upgrades, and go from there... then go with an sct, from hemifever. after that get the heads, cam, and/or harland sharp 1.7rr's. gears wouldnt be a bad uprade either! of course youre going to want a trans cooler, check valve delete, and various gauges(trans temp, vacuum, oil psi, etc.) good luck with it, post up some pics when you can, and update your sig!!!

oh and welcome to the forum!
