Engine, fuel system, transmission....... and a host of other little parts. No clue if the mounts would be the same. Is that a 5.9 diesel?

Would be a boatload of work. Tricky part is going to be trans, and the dash gauges. Most of them are run by the PCM....... your stock trans won't bolt to the oil burner......

Factory trans will bolt to the cummins as the 1st gen cummins used the A727 or A518.

Cummins will crush your front suspension, you need to get coils out of a cummins.

2nd gen cummins motor mounts should go into your motor mounts and bolt to the cummins.

why do people always bring up the gauges. leave the stock v8 wiring for the sending units and just hook up the 3 wires you need to start and run the diesel.

And crunch the bulb for the CEL, as the PCM will be highly unimpressed, and set codes galore.

Or, it may just trip the ASD relay, and be done with it, and nothing will work at all.......
