Will a 3" leveling spacer level an OFF-ROAD 1500?

Well I have an 2001 Dodge Ram sport quad cab 4X4. I have airbags on the back and I installed 3" spacers up front. Id have to say that going with 2" or 2 1/2" inch would have been fine. The airbags will raise the rear way over what the front has BUT I have to say that you should def add a dropped pitman arm AND a dual stabilizer set up.

The other truck we have is an 2001 Dodge Ram sport quad cab 4X4 with the offroad package. A friend installed the 2" leveling kit up front and it looks about perfect. I did install a dual stabilizer kit up front and will be installing a drop pitman arm tomorrow. Its needed when running the 2" spacer and 35" tires. we do not tow anything with this truck seeing its her truck.... its all for show.

Airbags are the best bet for leveling it when towing though. And id stick with 2" leveling kit and add some nice shocks (they are on ebay for like $145 for a set of 4)

Ive learned whats good and bad with all the stuff ve done or had done on my trucks. I think Ive owned about 9 of them since 1998.

I've got a 2001 offroad and I'm eyeing the 2 inch spacer as well... taking into consideration everything said in this post, the off road package with a 2 inch spacer is effectivley 4 inches of lift right? So what kind of drop pitman arm/control arms would I need? I'm assuming they are designed to meet certain lift increments I.E. 2",4",6". Dosen't this also mean longer front shocks?

The drop pitman arm only changes the position of the tie rod. Instead of bolting from the top it bolts from the bottom. There good from like 3-7" ish of lift. Around 7" though it's time to look into the extreme drop pitman arms. The control arms will be ok but it's pushing it. I wouldn't expect to do much flexing.
