Default Which is the correct steering shaft for my car?

Seems like both are supposed to be the same, but the top part where it connects to the steering column is different with some sort of a plate:

Also, the other one claims that its for lifted trucks up to 3", which is what my OFF-ROAD has, 2"(but im doing the 2" leveling kit so that will mean 4" then)

Unless you are doing a body lift, longer shaft isn't necessary. (steering box, and column stay in the same place in relation to each other, not so with a body lift.)

So which would you rather get given that I have the offroad plus I'm going to add the 2" leveling, so 4" total

So the stock one is the right for my application and NOT the 3" body lift one?

youre doing the 2" leveling kit, therefore the longer shaft is not needed. your leveling kit is a suspension lift, not a body lift... the stock one will be fine. oh and you can go to the dealer and get the same shaft for about 115. i just replaced mine last summer.

when you replaced your shaft for $115, what did you notice with the new one, better handling. So $125 is too high? Also, I already have the 2" lift all around becuase of the OFF-ROAD package, so with the 2" leveling, my truck would be 4", would the stock one, still be ok?

i had a steering clunk, but i had a bad p/s pump, box and shaft. it all went away when everything was replaced(all at the same time). the steering was MUCH tighter! like i said in my last post...you have an all suspension lift, not a body lift. suspension is frame mounted, so it will not effect the shaft length at all.im truck is lifted, 2.5" - 3" front 2" rear and my new shaft works just fine, still has plenty of travel room...

You're telling me that the shaft is advertised at $125 is $115 at the dealers? When you say box, you mean steering box? So you had all three that were bad, how do you know when the steering box and pump are bad? I have NO leaks but when I turn, you can hear a little whine, sounds like NO fluid, but fluid is NORMAL

yes p/s box. p/s pump and box both leaked like crazy, was going through a qt a day. yes a piad 115 at the dealer, i wouldnt trust that part from ebay anyway, its a very important part of the steering. ever since i replaced everything i get a whine at full lock, but other than that its fine. just go to the dealer and get it, trust me, youll be saving your life as well as others. remind you, it may be a bit more for you, i live in NH and there is no sales tax.

The shaft from ebay that you linked to has better (supposedly) u-joints in it, that should last longer, be more precise, and need less effort to turn (if that is even an issue) than the stock unit.
