Just wondering if anyone had tried what I posted back on page 2 to get the download to work?

Smile 1995 Dodge Ram 1500 5.2ltr good spark at coil NOT at plugs

1995 Dodge Ram 1500 5.2ltr has good spark at coil NOT at plugs
I have replaced CPS, TPS, IAC, Coil, Cap & Rotar, Cam Sensor, and checked the Fuses. Fuel pressure is good, Fuel pump turns on
Check engine light does not come on at all even at key turn before cranking. Maybe bulb? not sure
We checked the timing of the crank by hand cranking the engine around several times & timing marks all line up every time.
WE cant figure out why we are NOT getting spark at the plugs?
Truck ran fine until I put it in cruise control one day heading home about an hour away. Truck was heading over bridge and it went into passing gear on its own, due to the steep slope of the bridge. I quickly tried to step and even stomp on the gas pedal to get it out of passing gear. It wouldn't listen or stop until many foot pedal kicks. Then it ran like crap all the way home. Hasn't ran since. We have replaced all the things listed above and are at a lose. Could really use some good advice. Thank you!!!

One thing I DON'T see on your list is the plug wires.... If the coil is firing, but, it isn't getting to the plugs, cap and rotor are new...... wires are all that's left.

95 should cover 94 also and the 96 should cover 97 too, not sure about anything latter.
I will post again when they are completly updated with bookmarks.

Maybe these could be added to the Faq's section with the 2001 manual.
Enjoy!

Helpful.with one exception.
I am looking for information on how to replace the license plate lamp

Harness is usually all rotted up...I replaced both the housing and harness with new ones on my 2000. If you need them, check eBay, I think that is where i got mine.
