v10 tire gear ratio tunner?
just swaped in a 1998 v10 for the 360 .i have the axles for the v10 (3.54)d60 d70. the axles that came with the truck 360v8 (4.10)d60 d60 are still in the truck with 285/75/16 tires. the v10 likes the 4.10 and 285 tire on it but the tranny doesn't. been looking for a programmer to change the ratios.can only find the one for the v8 superchips 3836. do they have one for the v10? planned on switching the axles and changing the gears to 4.10 with the 285 tire.if i cant program the computer i guess ill have to leave it stock. any help on this would be very usefull

when i take off at a modest pace (half throttle or less) it kicks it self down out of 2nd.when i go past half throttle on the take off it doesn't do it,and goes through the gears fine.
1. i put new tranny lines on when i did the swap and didnt remove the check valve yet.i dont think that would make a diff in the shifting?
2. had to adjust the shifter linkage after the swap.maybe not right yet?
3. replaced the kick down cable with the one from the v8.matched it up to the v10 one and made sure they where the same.maybe it has to be fine tuned?
can the dealership tune the tire and gears? or do the make a tunner?really dont want to mess this trans up,just was rebuilt 30thousand ago.
