what size tires can i fit without rub? 22" rims

Default what size tires can i fit without rub? 22" rims

hey guys, time for some new tires.. i want the biggest offroad tire i can fit on here.. these are 22" rims and the truck has a 3.5" leveling kit on the front of the truck. i was wondering if i can possibly get some 33's under here? let me know

depending on wheel width, and backspacing, 33's shouldn't be a problem.

they are 22x9.5

idk about backspacing though?
also can you guys point out some off road tires that aren't to pricey?

My personal opinion: don't use them for off-roading. Having rims that big sacrifices a whole lot of side-bite which translates into you getting stuck easier than the guy with the same tire on 17 or 18 inch rims. Not to mention the risk of damaging them (I'm sure they weren't cheap).

That being said, I don't know what your version of "not too pricey" is. Can you give us your budget so we can come up with some ideas?

they won't be used for going off roading, more for looks.. and im lookin around $1200 max..

i like my nitto terra grapplers, mickey t ATZs are also a nice looking tire. not sure if youll have trouble finding them for 22s though?

Any thing bigger than 15 inch rims is to big.


Personal preference.

nitto's will probrably be your best bet, they wear a little fast if you drive hard but are a all around good tire.

if wear is a big concern stay away from off road tires.
