need cam advice

I believe as long as it's in one of the pipes you should be fine.

That's what i figured but not a major worry right now. I keep thinking of things as I go. I'm sure other things will pop up. All my linkage to transfer case looks pretty nasty also. MORE MONEY.

I think he's just using a 360 magnum block, in favor of the 98 318. It should be a direct swap, save for the harmonic balancer and the flex plate. 360's are externally balanced, 318's are internally balanced so you ned a harmonic damper and flex plate from a 360 donor.

Oh yes, and you'll ned a tuner for more fuel delivery for the larger cubes.

Is the torque converter weighted? I thought it was only the damper and flex plate? Never seen a 360 tc to know...

Yep theyre weighted, seen quite a few lol. I'm not remembering exactly which one but either the 318 or 360 the flex plate is only drilled to fit the TC one way.
