So yesterday I sold my Superchips because im going to get an SCT by Hemifever () and decided to do one last tuning to be able to compare my current results with the new SCT tune.
with that said, I was tunning the spark plug timing with my Superchips and decided to go with -3.00 Degrees instead of 0 deg. anything lower than -5.00 deg, i would get spark plug knock. Also changed tune to 91 oct since i had 93 oct.
After tuning, I headed out to the country side roads and did a 1/4 and 0-60 (used Superchips data logging) and here are my results:

Bone Stock (8 months ago, dont remember EXACTLY the numbers since i deleted the records )
1/4 18.42
0-60mph 12.00

Current mods (look at signature)
1/4 17.01 @ 77mph
0-60mph 10.73

Cant wait till i get the SCT by Hemifever! I'll post results as soon as i get it

 

you will probably get only .30 seconds faster with the SCT (you ALREADY have a superchips).

Which means any honda out there will still blow your doors off. But, keep modding and don't break anything.

Looking at my sig, I probably run 16.5.

 

yea, dont stop with a tuner. a tuner can only optimize what you HAVE!

airflow is critical! (cam/heads)

 

Cam is too big a job for me. Already had a bad experience with a chevy and a cam swap. It had 280* duration and over .5 in lift. More with the 1.6 RRs I had on the chevy. I ended up wearing a lobe down to nothing, had to redo it.

 

true, it just seems quite slow? Im sure removing Torque Managment will help, right?

 

Mine was 8.2 hypertech and with sct bought the same. Only cause i cant punch it on take off. Cant get traction burn out through 2nd gear. Hypertech only made me chirp

I am not sure what my quarter is but my 0-60 is 7.8, recorded with aDyno app and a digital stop watch.

 

0-60 was 8.2 hypertech. 1/4 was 16.01 note was not on a actual track was timed on a ipod.. not accurate.

No runs with sct

 

8.2 With trans stock and 3.55's granted it was a nice 50 degrees outside and im only rocking 31 10.5 with 15 inch rims. After the mopar pcm, oil change, air filter cleanse and getting my truck from the shop with my perf sports trans build I want to see 7.5 and under. Think thats possible? I do have a lot to make my truck move that fast though. and for a 5.2 i lose a bit for traction loss at the initial punch. Stock trans went bad shortly after doing this at every stoplight lol. Possibilities.. modded kegger and 3.92's or better that previous owner could have done.. and motor was rebuilt 20k miles ago by the owner although i think it was a stock rebuild. kinda want to know if anything was done. my low end is awesome
