Pull the throttle body, remove the IAC valve from the back of it, and clean all the passages really good. Reinstall with a new TB gasket. (they are like two bucks at the parts store....) Have the battery disconnected while you play. Once its all back together, start it up, and see if it doesn't feel better.

The hole job shouldn't take much more than 30 minutes or so. I think all you need is a 10mm socket for the TB bolts, and something similar for the IAC motor. It's only two little bolts that hold it on.
Anywhere from one, to three cables, depending on your truck, and three electrical connections, and that's it.

I cleaned it up today and it fixed the problem. Thanx ALOT. i have a ? that may be related to it also though. When i give it gas the RPM goes up i let off the gas. Then the RPM stays up steady for about 2-3 seconds then goes back to 750 slowly. Is this a problem? If it is what could be a possible fix?
