cruise control operation needs a speed sensor signal from the computer (and trans) to work right. fix any vac lines first. if it still doesn't work, or you get ABS light, consider the speed sensor in the tail shaft of trans/tcase, its about $15-20.

My fathers 1995 ram did the same thing, worked one day and the next it would not engage, turned out to be the vacuum line under the battery fell apart

Same here, corrosion from battery damaged vacuum line.

Well i just found my problem the little hose going into the intake had came off, now it works just like normal thanks guys
