yea the fork hasnt engaged the the axle shaft so in essence your hubs arnt locked. I ordered my kit today and ive been told that if you just wrap the cable in heat wrap or garden wrap and route it away from the manifold and whatnot it will last forever and be very very reliable.

 

Transmission cooler line will work well to protect the cable where it must pass near hot objects.
