Which RTV to use

Thought the AirGap comes with the updated rubber end seal from hughes?

if you get the flepro gakset set and then put a -1 after the part number it will have rubber seals vs the cork

I use the cork gaskets..Never had a problem, just make certain the surfaces are clean and fill the little holes for the Mopar rubber gaskets with RTV, a little RTV on the 4 corners...You're good to go.

I wouldn't know. I bought the air gap from another member for $100.

i used the rtv Black on both my Dodge 360 AirGap and the AirGap i have on my Chevy 383 stroker worked great. And if you read the instructions on the actual Edelbrock intake you will notice that they tell you not to use the front and back seals just a 1/4 in bead of RTV. For some reason the tech support doesn't seem to know about this at hughes. I had asked them if it needed to be used and the guy told me he didn't know some guys do some guys don't but if you look up the air gap for the 360 the instructions say not to.

Its fairly standard on the small block chevy's to leave out the front and rear intake seals, and just use a bead of RTV...... the seals tend to squirt out when you torque down the manifold anyway.. and you end up with a leak.
