No problem, I just got the bare heads and added Mopar performance valve's, spring's etc. Thats a good price, cheaper than mine cost.

If your heads have the typical head cracks you can see them between the valves, wire brush the area and have a look.

I looked briefly over them but didnt really see anything. Ive read that the stock heads on these suck though so im really hoping that its cracked somewhere else and that my engine block didnt develop a hole in it somewhere. Also...how do you get rid of that awful peanut butter oil that now sits in my engine

Pull the drain plug out of the oil pan, then use brake, or carb cleaner to clean the crap out, and let is run out the oil pan. Once you think you have it pretty clean, flush it with clean oil. Not cheap really, but, it works.

yea thats what i thought i would have to do.

I found these heads on ebay and my work buddy had used them on his chevy with good results.

Im really hoping its my heads that are cracked so that im not wasting my money. I havent seen any noticable cracks on them but the engine did overheat and it had all of the syptons of a blown gasket (which looked fine with no peices missing)

You don't want rebuilt/refurbed factory heads. Go with an aftermarket supplier whose castings are stronger.

Here are both heads new with valves..... I can't speak to the quality, but I agree with Unreg on going new.
