head porting is a MUST IMO. 2.02s can flow in excess of 300 CFM with a good port job whereas they flow mid 200's out of the box. go iron (R/T or iron ram)

your best bet for your trans would be to get the mega viper from PATC.

im running a pretty agressive cam with over .570 lift and 108* LS. you will need to modify any piston you go with, i beleive. my quench pads were shaved .100 and it dialed me into a perfect .039 quench with a .054 gasket.

3" exhaust is perfect and yes, it will not run without an SCT tune.
So you're sayin if I port the aftermarket heads, ill have to modify any piston I buy?

Check the faq section for info on how to obtain a build sheet for your truck, that will tell you exactly what you got.

You only have to modify pistons if you run into more valve lift, than you have clearance for..... depends on what heads you get, and what pistons you run.

You don't wanna run 3" exhaust on your application. That would indeed be a tad too large. (unless you went with a three inch single system I think.)

2.73 is the gear reduction in low range on the transfer case. Thats where that number comes from.

2.73 gear ratio is not even available in the aftermarket for the Chrysler 9.25.

to my knowledge, there are no stroker pistons for closed chamber magnum heads.

its no big deal any machine shop will throw em on the lathe for about an hours worth of shop time. you'll be spending ALOT of time at the machine shop anyhow!

poarting the heads wont affect quench, but it REALLY opens them up to allow more airflow. I HIGHLY reccomend it. my 1.92's cant compare to peak lift numbers on the 2.02's but they'll provide tons of velocity to get the big ram moving!

I talked to a friend today when doing a tune-up. And he talked about a blower/supercharger, that was geared for stock motors and ran about $2500. Have yall heard about anything like this? Also if I were to go with it what would be some beneficial supporting mods?

JE , MAHLE , ICON , DIAMOND , KB ,ALL make stroker pistons for closed chambered heads and dont require machining. Choosing the correct parts so theres no need for unnecessary machining. Just one example of ICONS used in the shorter deck magnum block.
