The cheapest ive found for a supercharger as i stated is like 5400-6k tthe turbo systems are always cheaper
Because the turbo systems aren't complete, and require a fair bit of fabrication. I found supercharger systems for around 3 grand, but, for the life of me, I can't find the site again......

2.73 is the gear reduction in low range on the transfer case. Thats where that number comes from.
2.73 gear ratio is not even available in the aftermarket for the Chrysler 9.25.
2.73 gears are orderable for the 8.25 rear end and can me made for the 9.25. i have been have gears made for our race cars for years. you can order what ever numbers you want your just going to be paying for them.
btw if you were running the 2.73 gears your gas milage would be great. but you would probably be running in 3 and 4 maybe if you crusing down the high way at 85 or 90 you will get fifth. but there aint anyone thats going to beat you in the top end.

With those gears, the engine wouldn't have the power to move that heavy brick down the road much faster.
And sure, you can "get" anything you want, but, the price is going to be steep.
