Yep, you could get the magaflow direct fit high flow cat. That comes with the "Y-Pipe" tubing and everything.

Those eBay headers were the BIGGEST PITA I've ever come across. Do yourself a favor and spend a little extra on some Summit brand headers.

Sounds like you need to fix your plenum. Do you have excessive oil consumption problems?

I didn't think my plenum was bad until I replaced my kegger with an Air Gap this weekend. I had about 3 tablespoons of oil inside my intake.

I've had them for 4 or 5 years now and a weld cracked on the collector but the Lincoln fixed that right up.
I think the reason they cracked is because when I first installed them the y-pipe didn't fit quite right, I had to squeeze the crap out of it to make it slip onto the headers. So those headers were under tension for quite a while, not any more though.

Y'up. The same here. The y pipe didn't meet up. They were about 1-2 inches off center. That wasn't my biggest problem. There wasn't that much clearance to put the bolts in...especially the 2 rear bolts on the drivers side. I gave up and sold them for $80. Lesson learned.

I think the crack helped mine fit into place because when I put my new cat on the truck I had to pull the y-pipe and it fit perfectly when I put it back on. It sucks that I didn't see the crack when I did that though, I drove the truck for a good while after that before I found the crack. But it wasn't a big deal to weld the crack shut so I would recommend these to anyone that has access to a welder in case they do end up cracking.

your cat only lasted a week?
check the vac lines from the charcoal canister to the purge valve/throttle body. you might be sucking in and passing charcoal through your engine. i saw a buddy's 1st gen do that and it completely stopped up his cat to where it wouldn't even run.
