I've got eBay headers and haven't had any problems yet. Some don't like them but for the price you can't beat them. I would use some better gaskets and buy some locking header bolts though.

Sheriff has had his for like two years and then they cracked. he welded the bad spot up and hasnt had any problems yet. for $100, you get what you pay for

i think there are better thing to do to the truck with the 140 bucks to get it to run better

headers dont really free up and alot of hp/tq

Headers compliment other mods, in and of themselves, they won't do a hell of a lot. The Y pipe on our trucks is the biggest restriction..... changing that (either instead of, or, in conjunction with headers) would be a better gain.

Dont expect the claims theyre saying. Also, I wouldnt use those bolts that they come with. Get some stage8 locking bolts, worth every penny.

Get one of the off-road Y's offered by jegs, or summit. (i think they are both made by the same company, so, just your choice of vendor....) If you must have a cat where you are, pick up a magnaflow hi-flow cat, and install that as well.

1994-1999? IIRC,,,, i know your 97 is this way the cat also is use as a y-pipe.. 2 going in 1 going out,,, now the 00-01 had a y-pipe then a cat


what other mods have done to your truck? and what are u hoping for?
... maybe we can guide you in the right way
