Default torque converter?

Hi everyone
I have a 1999 5.9L 4x4 quad cab 4door with the a518 transmission in it.

my ? is lockup or none lock up what is the one it came with?

Thanks in advance i know you guys will find this a easy one but i don't know how to find out

Lockup. 99 should be a 46RE.

I got the cr94 proking rebuilt lockup hope it works out well.
now as long as i didnt screw up putting the tranny back together i should be rolling soon on my 99 doing the 01 next both transmissions are shot.

Oooo, a reman? Not sure if that is gonna make ya happy, basically, you are installing the same problems you are removing, the stock T/C's were weak, and cheap when they were brand new...... Probably would have been further ahead upgrading to a better unit. Sure, it's more money.... but, well worth the investment.

Your a wealth of knowledge HeyYou, the 99 i'm probably selling after i'm done with it. so i will get a new one for the 01 and upgrade cause i plan on keeping the 01, the 99 was my practice run.
