I have a flowmaster super 44. Has a nice throaty rumble to it. I've never had a problem with the cops whether it be state, county, or local.

I have the flowmaster 40 series and it is a little to quiet for my tastes. It sounds okay from about 1600 rpms till about 2000 but the rest of the time it is to quiet.

I had a Flowmaster, had good deep tone and not real loud.
Darn thing rotted out in only 8 years.
New one a knock off of a flowmaster 44, still got the deep tone and not too loud.

Thumbs up

Running Flowmaster Super 40, $4 at a swap meet. Good sounding under load, the law hasn't stopped me yet, but then I am an old fart in a noisy truck...
