If thats what you want to believe then fine..,Phatshaft 62 and is compound over a S474....., 120HP injectors from Industrial Injection, FASS 150, Dargon fire pump,ARP head studs, ATS Pulse flow 2Pc exhaust manifolds, South bend Double disc clutch, Ats intake manifolds,AEM Brute Force intake, and a smarty TnT tuner and will soon be stacked with a edge..
Thats stroke on the trailer is all so pushing close to around 650Hp

If it's a 96 or newer look into an sct tuner. Also why are y'all saying that 300 hp is hard to get? That's not even 1 hp per cube. That is below average. There's a guy on forabodiesonly.com that's got an na 360 with over 700 hp. It's all about the money you want to spend. Bore the block at least 30 over, find a 360 crank and have it machined to 318 mains, bump the compression up in the 9.5 or just a tad higher, with port and polished 1.92 heads and a good cam to wrap it all up. Your probaly close to 400 with that. You can probably build that motor in the neighborhood of 2k.

Ah ha I knew I'd find it.

Here is a little rotating assembly that would cost you about $800 that would turn a 318 into a 348. It can be done using Chevy rods and pistons and heres how.

360 crank cut down to 318 mains
Cut rod journal to Chevy 2.100" This is about $100
KB165 Piston- Chevy 283 .060" over 3.935" flat top 6cc Hyper $234
Eagle I beam rods 6.00" long $209
Sealed power moly rings 245k060 $50
318 main bearings P series $41
Chevy rod bearings P $18
Balnce the assembly roughly 1783g Bob wieght (less than std 318) $150

And there you go. Works great and is good for an easy 430+hp setup with Eddy RPM heads Air Gap and comp 227 cam. Has lots of torque too. 10.2 to 1 comp. Great street engine and is cheap to build. With the 283 piston and 6" rod, it put the piston about .005" below the deck. You dont even have to deck the block to get a good tight quench, just use MP thin head gaskets. Unless you have decks that are way off, which is normal. You may also have to have the big end of the rod ground down a little, they are thicker than Mopar rods. Sometimes you do and sometimes you dont. And with all the 360 stroker engines being made there are a lot of 360 cranks waiting to be had, cheap, if not free.

That seems like it would be a very nice running motor. If you want to stick with the stock injection, any cam ideas that play nice with the EFI but still give good hp? Or... should we run a stock cam with the 1.7 Ratio Rockers?

I am guessing an edelbrock Airgap intake, and a set of Edelbrock heads and a big throttle body would wrap this up nicely.
